Guiding Women towards Self Reliance

The Vocational Training Centre at PLC provides
classes to both graduating students and the
women of Piyali and beyond. These range from
sewing classes to learning the basics of first aid
and the creation of personal and decorative items
for sale at school fests and inter school events.

The aim of the training centre is to make the girls
and women financially self-reliant, so they can
contribute to their family resources and gain
independence.
